This quote has a lot of meaning behind it because many young people tend to follow the “trends” some of these trends aren't very right, for example a very dangerous and popular trend at the moment is smoking weed.Others do what their friends are doing and that isn't right either because you have to choose your own path that way you won't face the same consequences that are ahead of them.You have to look out for yourself because no one will be there to face the consequence with you, your going to have to go through that on your own.

     HOMECOMING

Homecoming is an annual tradition in the United States. People, towns, high schools, and colleges come together, usually in late September or early October, to welcome back alumni and former residents.The 1911 Kansas vs. Missouri football game is one of several claimed to be the first college football homecoming game. The tradition of Homecoming has its origin in alumni football games held at colleges and universities since the 19th century.Those who return to their high school for homecoming after having graduated do so to celebrate their high school, see old friends and remember memories of that time of their lives. Students who are currently in high school celebrate homecoming to show school spirit and support whatever athletic teams and clubs are going on during that period of time. It is built around a central event, such as a banquet and, most often, a game of football, or, on occasion, basketball, ice hockey or soccer. When celebrated by schools, the activities vary widely.Most homecoming dances are semi-formal, although each school will specify its own dress code.Homecoming seems interesting but sad because people like me can't get a date to homecoming.

They argue that it creates a false narrative about the discovery of the Americas and contributes to the disenfranchisement of Native Americans. I personally believe that columbus day should not be celebrated. Another reason why not to celebrate columbus day is because columbus was not the first to step on the americas it was the vikings.Columbus enslaved the native populations of the Caribbean in gold mines and other work. He enforced his rules using brutal methods, including cutting off their hands if they did not work enough.Columbus was sick when torturing the native populations of the caribbean. Contemporary accounts mention his men killing and raping for fun, and Columbus tacitly supporting it.Columbus should not be honored, the many people hurt during that time period should be remembered.What columbus did was considered a genocide since his people would go out killing, torturing,and raping the native americans for fun.

       When you stop seeing obedience as something that is annoying and start looking at it as your goal, it will be easier to choose the right.
