Class evaluation

1. What i liked the most about this class are all the stories and quotes we learned about.Another thing i liked was that sometimes when we finished our work we got some free time which was pretty cool because we got to explore in the internet.Overall this class was a nice experience.
2. I didn't really like that the daily routine was always the same and it wouldn't change up a little or something.
3. Recommendations to improve this class to improve is have the students interact and do more active activities.
4. A highlight for me in this class was the time we had to write about Columbus day because i had a lot to say about that.
5. I tried but at times i would slack off because i wasn't feeling good but overall i believe i tried my best.
6. Sometimes i do look at it too see if I've accomplished any but that is rarely.
7. Sometimes the thought of choosing the right does cross my mind for example when i don't want to do my homework or when i don't want too go swim.

 THE STING OF THE SCORPION

Young Patrick Kearon was  CTW person and did not obey his parents, when they were at the camp. His parents had asked him too always have his shoes on but he was really lazy and did not want to go through the struggle.He decided too just put on his flip flops and walk off like that.Due to his decisions ha got stung by a SCORPION the pain was excruciating but he had to hold it for 2 hours since the closest hospital was 2 hours away.Patrick taught me a life lesson too always choose the right and listen too my parents.

  STUDENT SUCCESS STATEMENT

This quote means that you always have too chooses the right no matter what situation you're in or who you're with you always have to choose what's right.Many times teens are found in nerve racking situations where they dont know whats best to impress their friends or do what is right.The answer is to choose the right because no matter what choosing the right is an important thing to do.

As young adults or teens we face many challenges such as self conscious about your body or facial features or personal issues that we are still not capable of handling.Teenagers are just kids living an adult's lifestyle. Since we are not mature when we come up too these adult issues we get paranoid and don't make the best decisions.One of the most delicate things too mess with is love, because we can not tell the difference between love and those butterflys you feel when your crush is near you.When teens face intimat and personal things like bad breakups, sex, or even a simple argument with your mate most do not know how to control these new emotions and express them in unnfortunate ways.One out of twelve teens have attempted suicide, suicide is one of the highest rate of death causes.This shows that teens do not know how to work with their emotions yet and are still mentally weak, wether your the victim or the perpatrator you are still mentally weak. I personally am dealing with a lot of stress from school, personal issues, and family pressure. What i do to cope with this stress is listen to music and distract myself with gymnastics and swimming. Although sometimes i do find myself stuffing my mouth with food even when i'm not really hungry i find my way out of it.Being a CTR person has helped me overcome these stress factors because by choosing the right i am getting myself to tutoring and raising my grades. I can help other students overcome their obstacles by talking them out of their bad decisions.     

One of the biggest need a teen may have is a role model or someone too look up too when in trouble.

             PHYSICAL FITNESS

This means that no matter what you have to keep yourself fit, even when you are smart being fit helps you use your brain properly.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: They provide assistance in finding medical documents.

REFLECTION:It is a pretty interesting job but i wouldn't do it because i would like to be working in the field.

      A good example of this is when i went with my church to feed the homeless i felt really good about myself when I saw how happy they were to get clothes and food.This shows that by me taking my time to do good i felt good myself.I have also done bad for example when I made a girl cry in second grade for making fun of her body type that was a really bad decision because i felt bad about it afterwards.

Being kind is one of the most important things in life, if you have a kind heart you will have a peaceful environment with positive vibes because you only attract kindness with your own kindness.You should always be kind but have a limit because there is some people who will take advantage of your kind heart and hurt you.So be kind with those who deserve your kindness and for those who don't have some type of respect for no matter what they still have a heart and feel sorry for whatever reason they are so unhappy because if you are unhappy that leads to not being kind.

For my thanksgiving break i spent 3 days at Big Pine. I met many amazing people at Big Pine including Zuri, Janice, Ivan, Jacob,Dianna, Montana, and many others who i spent the weekend with.I went rock climbing and that was great besides the fact that i almost died.Another cool experience was when the fresh snow started to fall and i was able to see how the snow build up and created a thick layer of snow.The hot chocolate there was very delicious and had whipped cream on top.i also bought matching bracelets with my best friend. Another fun thing was i got to see the movie Moana which was pretty interesting.The best thing of my break was obviously the food specially the mashed potatoes with ham but not turkey since i don't find it all that appealing i ate chicken instead.We also had delicious s'mores which were okay besides the fact that mines wasn't fully melted ):.But the most important and valuable thing of all is getting to spend time with friends and family.

This means that in order to gain integrity you have to learn how to say no to tempting things that are bad for you for example drugs.Many of your friends may be doing drugs and partying till 2 a.m in the morning but you have to ctr and follow your own path.Honesty is one of the most respected things, the truth may hurt or have negative repercussions at times but in the end telling the truth once is better than lying 10 times.Most importantly have self respect, when you do bad things like cuss, bully, drugs or other ctw things you are giving yourself a bad name so do the right thing because it is right.

Surround yourself with positive people in order to be positive yourself. If you surround yourself with people who smoke weed and cause trouble you will slowly follow their lead and ruin your life along with theirs.Choose your friends wisely, get friends who pursue the same thing you do and work on your goal together. For example get friends that want to be successful in life and reach your success

together.

     GAINESVILLE TORNADOES

The Gainesville tornadoes were happy to see that for once they would have someone cheering for them and not only one person but a whole crowd and their own cheerleaders. Gainesville is a juvenile hall  where students are only allowed out of the campus for the basketball games.Students were not allowed to go out and watch the players and support them at their games.When their opponent team asks half of their fans to cheer the tornadoes.This was a good experience for the Gainesville Tornadoes, one said that he would remember this even when they are old.

The best way to recreate yourself is to do good. When you do good you feel good. Being polite makes you feel good since you are being polite with someone it makes you feel good.Using manners and treating people with respect us another way of doing good  because in order to do good you need to respect the people around you since they deserve to be treated properly.

This quote has a lot of meaning behind it because many young people tend to follow the “trends” some of these trends aren't very right, for example a very dangerous and popular trend at the moment is smoking weed.Others do what their friends are doing and that isn't right either because you have to choose your own path that way you won't face the same consequences that are ahead of them.You have to look out for yourself because no one will be there to face the consequence with you, your going to have to go through that on your own.

When celebrated by schools, the activities vary widely.Most homecoming dances are semi-formal, although each school will specify its own dress code.Homecoming seems interesting but sad because people like me can't get a date to homecoming.

This statement shows how in the end your name will follow you and you want to be remembered as a polite CTR person like coach K. You have to treat others with respect in order to gain respect yourself.If you are a kind and loving person people will speak of you with respect. But if you are rude and mean people will dislike you and show no respect to your name.

I would like to be a Hotel manager at Jamaica because i love the country and Jamaica and most importantly i love interacting with people.

REFLECTION: I would not like to be a health educator because i'm not interested.

You shouldn't let anyone make decisions for you, its your life and you have to live it happily.

This quote means that in order to be a great human you need to be a CTR champion. in order to be a CTR person you need to make the right decisions and CTR.When you decide to choose the wrong you are automatically choosing to be a bad person. For example if you decide to do drugs and drink alcohol you are running the risk of turning into an addict which turns you int a bad human.

REFLECTION: I would like to be an Environmental Health Specialist, because i would like to inspect peoples environment and make sure the kids have a stable place to grow.

Many people set their goals and say “oh i'll start trying tomorrow” but then they never do. A goal should start since the moment you set it.If you don't accomplish your goals your never gonna feel the satisfaction of accomplishing something. The right moment to start on your goals is now not later.

Another reason why not to celebrate columbus day is because columbus was not the first to step on the americas it was the vikings.Columbus enslaved the native populations of the Caribbean in gold mines and other work. He enforced his rules using brutal methods, including cutting off their hands if they did not work enough.Columbus was sick when torturing the native populations of the caribbean. Contemporary accounts mention his men killing and raping for fun, and Columbus tacitly supporting it.Columbus should not be honored, the many people hurt during that time period should be remembered.What columbus did was considered a genocide since his people would go out killing, torturing,and raping the native americans for fun.

       When you stop seeing obedience as something that is annoying and start looking at it as your goal, it will be easier to choose the right. For example if your mom wants you to keep your room clean and you get irritated and decide not to do it you will most likely not do it, but if you make it your goal to keep your room clean you will most likely achieve it  since it is your goal.things get easier when you decide to do them because you want t not because you have to. It only takes a little bit of will so you can do the right.
